Local project data

Projects, articles, settings, review state, and editorial materials are stored on your Mac as the system of record. QueueWrite is designed so your working content does not need to live on our servers to use the Direct desktop app.

Desktop provider credentials

For the native Direct macOS product, when you supply API credentials for a writing, research, or image provider you choose, those credentials are stored locally using macOS Keychain. The application uses them to authenticate requests it makes directly to the provider you selected. Those provider API credentials are not transmitted to QueueWrite infrastructure.

Licence activation details used to validate your QueueWrite purchase may be stored in Keychain and checked with our licensing provider (Lemon Squeezy). That is separate from third-party writing or research API credentials.

Content and request data

Generation, research, contextual images and publishing require relevant request or content data to be sent to the services you enable—for example a writing provider, Pexels, or a publishing destination such as WordPress. Those services process that information under their own privacy policies and terms. QueueWrite does not claim that all processing happens only on your Mac.

Optional Academic Research may send relevant queries to the academic research provider you configure. Academic Research is optional and separate from payment processing.

Payments and licensing

Purchases and licence payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT, and transaction administration. QueueWrite does not store or process customers’ card details. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy practices apply to payment data; see Lemon Squeezy’s privacy information.

Updates signup, contact, and roadmap feedback

If you subscribe for QueueWrite updates, contact us, or vote/comment on the public roadmap, we use the email and details you provide to respond, weigh product priorities, and send related product news you requested. We do not sell this information.

Cookies and preferences

QueueWrite uses a consent manager so you can accept, reject, or customise optional cookies such as measurement and marketing. Necessary cookies for the site to function stay enabled. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s cookies and revisiting, which will show the consent dialog again.

If you accept measurement on the website, we may load Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and which calls to action are used. Measurement tools are not loaded until you consent.

Optional analytics

The Direct macOS app may offer opt-in anonymous analytics. Analytics stay off until you choose to share them. When enabled, anonymous analytics do not include article bodies, titles, prompts, research content, or provider credentials.
