Getting started with QueueWrite

QueueWrite is specialised native macOS software for researching, writing, reviewing and publishing high-quality articles. This guide walks through a first successful run.

   Install QueueWrite

   Download and install the Direct QueueWrite Mac app for your machine. Open QueueWrite from Applications when installation finishes.

   Activate your licence

   Open Settings → Licence. Paste the licence key from your Lemon Squeezy purchase receipt or customer email, then activate. One licence is for one person and can be activated on up to two Macs.

   Create a project

   Create a project for the website or content stream you are working on. Projects keep writing, research, and publishing settings together.

   Let QueueWrite learn the website (when applicable)

   If the project is tied to a site, use Learn Website so QueueWrite can gather context such as services and terminology. You can refresh later, or forget learned context if you need a clean slate.

   Connect a Writing API

   In Settings → Providers, choose DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter. Paste your API key and use Test & Save. QueueWrite will not write articles until a writing connection is ready.

   Optionally connect Web Research

   Add a web research provider such as Tavily when you want source-backed web research before writing.

   Optionally connect Academic Research

   Add Consensus when you want optional academic evidence alongside (or instead of relying only on) web research.

   Add work with a Generation Source

   Choose an Article Type (what QueueWrite writes), then add jobs with a Generation Source such as Paste Titles, Rewrite URLs, Import CSV, or Local Matrix. See Generation Sources in the Help Centre for details.

   Review the result

   Read the draft in QueueWrite. Use review and repair tools where needed before you publish or export.

    Publish or export

    Publish to WordPress when a project connection is configured, or export the finished article for use elsewhere.
